Enjoying a Beautiful - if Cool - Autumn Walk

Autumn is my favorite walking season... and one of my favorite walking places, these days, is a park on the Ottawa River.

It's about 5 kilometers away - a short drive.

The park paths are circular, so Terry and I can walk from the parking lot down to the river...

Walk along beside the river for a while... Then circle back to the car.

There are actually two loops, so one can switch from one to another - or, better still - go twice around both.

On our last walk, we realized - too late - that we should be wearing warmer jackets and hats. The wind near the water was cold and brisk.

But the views were beautiful.

They are beautiful any time of the year - but especially now, in fall.
