On our last trip to Toronto, I couldn't help but notice the street art...
... that brightens old buildings in the heart of downtown.
This raccoon picture camouflages a mailbox...
Old buildings are a wonderful canvas for whimsical scenes.
I don't think we have many painted buildings in Ottawa... Or maybe, living here, I simply don't notice them anymore.

Toronto Street Art
I often stop to admire "street art."
This hodge podge of paintings on the side of a Toronto building no doubt needed scaffolding to complete...
I wonder who painted these on a schoolyard fence.
A mix of images and painting styles...
(A longing, perhaps, for the ocean?!)
My favorite? A more local theme: a giant raccoon face!
