Walking in Parkwood Hills

On my second hour-long neighborhood walk, I added a section of hilly terrain.

Years ago all my children attended elementary school here in a neighborhood called "Parkwood Hills," a little over a mile from our house.

I used to go up the hill to the school pushing a stroller! Walking the hill now, I wondered how I'd had the strength!

It was fun reacquainting myself with the streets I knew so well back then.

I returned to our neighborhood via a quiet road next to a farm house that was one of the earliest buildings in this part of the city.

Hard to imagine how the neighborhood would have looked back when that house was built.
