Yesterday I mentioned catching the travel bug! One of the Canadian provinces Terry and I have never visited is the smallest - Prince Edward Island. We've talked about taking a trip there for years...
After seeing some travel posters, we were inspired to finally pack our bags and head off...
The first leg of our trip was to Quebec City.
All along our route, we noticed rivers running high.
As soon as we arrived in Quebec City, we headed out to wander around the old historic section of town.
Some of the walkways were steep, but after our four-hour drive, we needed the exercise!
We stopped for supper at our favorite restaurant overlooking the St. Lawrence River - Cafe du Monde.
The evening was warm enough to eat on the outdoor patio - where we could watch ships sailing up the river.
It was the perfect way to start our spring adventure!
