Another River Walk

I'd like to walk by the river, I told Terry one day recently... I'll suggest two places and you decide...

He picked a Gatineau, Quebec path next to the river..

But this time, let's walk in the opposite direction, he suggested...

So we did... The only problem was that before long, the sidewalk ended. 

So we walked along a bike path next to the road.

Fortunately, there was almost no traffic...

Has someone been walking out on the river? I wonder why!

Is that a frozen waterfall in the distance?

Beautiful views - though the air was chilly. Still - a refreshing winter walk.

So much to discover, even close to home.
