A few days ago, I sewed buttons on my latest sweater project. So it’s officially done!
A few reflections as I assess the final project:
I used thicker yarn than the sweater pattern called for, but I tried to compensate for the size differential by following the instructions for a size smaller than I wear. In retrospect, I should have made it two sizes smaller, as it still looks too big - to me.
When I mentioned this to my daughter, she said: “Mom, baggy sweaters and pants are “in”! Roll up the sleeves. It looks fine…”
I still wish it were a little smaller - but… I’m lucky that “baggy” is in style again!
