Afghan in Progress

A few months ago, I started to work on a new afghan...

It's an Elizabeth Zimmerman pattern knit in four pieces. The rows and stitches are knit (in garter stitch) in multiples of 24... (24 stitches across, 48 /96 - rows before creating corners.)

I've made several afghans using this pattern. They are all popular with TV viewers in the family: the perfect weight to cover oneself when lying on the sofa watching TV.

When I reached halfway, I realized that I didn't have enough yarn to finish the project...

So I added a second color from my stash...

I expect to need a border to make it long enough  to cover an adult. So I may end up adding a third color!
