My knee is a lot better and the month (after cataract surgery) has passed.
But the stool will stay: Sitting is definitely easier - and better for me - than doing deep knee bends...
(And the stool is useful for recharging small electronics, too!)

New Laundry Room Addition
I bought a canvas fold-up stool for sitting outdoors and painting flowers a few summers ago...
When my left knee was bothering me a few months ago - and I was told not to bend over for a month after my cataract surgery - I brought it to my laundry area to sit on working at the washer and dryer.
My knee is a lot better and the month (after cataract surgery) has passed.
But the stool will stay: Sitting is definitely easier - and better for me - than doing deep knee bends...
(And the stool is useful for recharging small electronics, too!)
