Why not GIVE AWAY things that are no longer needed?
That was the idea behind a sidewalk store where EVERYTHING IS FREE… manned by my five-year-old granddaughter, Ivy, and a friend.
Neighbours came to shop - a great time was had by all!
One neighbour - who found new homes for several of the items - later dropped off a note telling how the things she took were being put to good use…
Appreciation for the items… Appreciation also for the children who manned the shop…
Wish I could have seen Ivy’s “entrepreneurial spirit” in action! Glad she’s learning the joy of generosity! Wish I could have been there!
