I’ve been noticing lots of trees in bloom...
These are in the college grounds. I passed them the other day while out walking.
So beautiful!
We no longer have many flowering trees or bushes. (Only a lilac, which isn’t in flower yet.) A few years ago I inadvertently killed the weeping cherry in our front yard. It had lovely flowers in spring. (But no cherries later in the season!)
And many years ago, before we renovated our house, we had several honeysuckles around our back deck. The downside of that was that they attracted bees - a deterrent when I wanted the kids to eat outside... (So much easier to clean up! Just hose everything down!)
