Terry and I were in Manotick to pick up some frozen dinners at the Miller’s Oven tea house, so we headed over to the park by the mill.
There at a lookout over the water, we heard a goose honking... A warning?!
Terry looked down and saw a female goose sitting on the edge of the cliff trying to be invisible... She almost succeeded!
Was this ledge her nest?!
Eventually she lifted her head, realizing we weren’t planning to hurt her.
We should come back every week! I suggested. Maybe we’d even get to see some goslings!
