Terry and I were walking at Andrew Hayden Park recently when Terry pointed to a distant shape in the river...
I wonder what that is... (The dark shape top centre right...) One should always carry a map and binoculars!
A small island of trees, I suspect...
So after circling the park, I suggested we drive into a neighborhood farther down the road.
Maybe we could find a closer view.
So we did! We still couldn’t really tell what it is...
But discovering this little spot, popular, I suspect with canoeists and kayakers, reminded me that there are so many interesting places locally to explore... So many interesting views of the river!
