Christmas Cookie Presses

I was going through my kitchen cupboards a while back when I came across these cookie molds I haven't used in a few years. Since I'm trying to eat "low-carb" in the hopes of lowering my type 2 diabetes numbers, I don't do as much baking as I used to. (I also don't have enough people around to share in the eating!)

But I see they can also be used as Christmas treee decorations.

I think I bought them in Pennsylvania once while on vacation - perhaps in Amish country.

This other set was a gift from my sister-in-law many Christmases ago. It came with a cook book - which I have to look for. The cookies are large - but fun to make.

My daughter and I have good memories of making (and eating) them!
