Squirrel at Rest

Squirrels are on the go from early morning till night... They are almost as hyperactive as chipmunks!

Rarely do I notice one at rest...

But one evening, I noticed this one, relaxing on our wooden fence...

His fluffy squirrel tail was lying down flat, so from a distance, he looked like a rat!


Is he tired? Or does he not have a home? I wondered...

Maybe he simply needed some peace and quiet before heading in for the night...

A few minutes later, he was gone.
