Tip - From a Fellow Gardener

Terry and I didn’t know what to do when we had an infestation of tiny flies in the house this past winter. I really didn’t want to get rid of my house plants, but I assumed one or more were the source of the problem.

Had a nest of eggs developed in one of them?

Fortunately, in spring the problem mostly disappeared - though we still see a few from time to time.

We happened to mention this problem to our neighbor Mary.

She showed us what she had used when she had a similar problem.

Maybe I could bring my African violet back into the house and put a Sticky Stik in the pot… I put it outdoors in spring after I saw a few flies on it.

Maybe it’s worth a try.
