I enjoy looking after my grandson once a week.
The day usually begins with indoor play - with cars and trucks his father used to play with.
Then we go for a walk - to check out local construction projects… or in this case, fallen trees.
He always enjoys dropping in to visit Sonny, the friendly pup s few houses down.
We don’t go that far - but by the end of the day, I find that I’ve doubled my normal steps on my pedometer!
I’m going to miss him - and this bonus exercise - at the end of the month, when he starts daycare full time and no longer hangs out with Terry and me on Wednesdays.
It’s been a lot of fun!
