As we slowly move towards the "shortest day of the year," I'm usually "up and at it" before dawn.
I'm not alone...
A few days ago, my older son messaged me this lovely picture of the sunrise. He took it as he was heading out for his morning coffee at 6:40 AM.
I rushed to the window... What was I missing?!
I took a few pictures to send to him...
Then, a few minutes later, I happened to glance up through the window again...
Spectacular!!
Sunrises are beautiful in summer as well. But in June, during the "longest days of the year," I'm rarely awake at 4:00 AM to see them.
