Today is my brother's birthday!
Here we are with one of my mother's younger sisters in Edmonton, in front of my grandparents' house.
And below, at my 7th birthday party in Kingman, Alberta.
I don't hear from him all that often these days... (As they say, "No news is good news...") But he keeps in touch with my sons - especially if their favourite teams are playing against each other!
A "preemie" who only weighed 4 pounds at birth, he spent several months in an incubator. After that rocky start, he's led a healthy, active life. So I was surprised to discover that he now has a pace-maker.
In my mind, he's still my "baby brother"!
