A number of years ago, I noticed that the college next door had begun keeping bees…
Was this part of the Horticultural Program? I wondered.
After that first year, there didn’t seem to be any developments in the fenced in hives… I never noticed the shed door open.
But, on a recent walk, I saw that the shed was open - with hives at the entrance!
Glad to see it.
I wonder if some of the bees I see in our garden come from these college hives.
