That was before we built an addition on the back of the house: Where we now have an opening into our “no-TV room,” we then had a sliding patio door that opened to the back yard.
Another memory: In those days, my sewing machine lived permanently on a chair in the dining room to the left of the buffet. In this photo, it’s covered with a pile of fabric. From the looks of it, I was working on a striped duvet cover I don’t use very often anymore…
