Winter is here!
New Years Day was cool and damp.
In spite of grey skies, Terry and I decided to go out walking - some place where sidewalks would be cleared...
We headed downtown.
The Byward market area wasn’t busy....
After walking around for a bit, we drove to the Rideau Falls lookout on Sussex Drive...
Ice was beginning to form on the cliffs next to the falls.
Then Terry noticed ice fishermen in the distance. Was the ice on the river really thick enough to be safe?!
A brief look around... then home!
