Quick Walk in Old Manotick

Every few weeks, Terry and I head to Manotick to buy frozen food from the Miller’s Oven.

Last time we went, the weather was exceptionally hot and sunny…

But we couldn't waste this opportunity to walk - even if we had to cut it short. We looked for shady streets.

A bridge visit to the river and the dam that runs the mill.

A quick look at an antique grist mill. I think it churns out food for the ducks!

Another river view… Then a walk around the block.

Then back home to get our frozen purchases into the freezer.

These days we buy frozen homemade soup at the Miller’s Oven. Perfect to eat with tuna sandwiches on those days when it’s too hot to cook.
