When the family lived in Toronto, we often headed to a playground in their neighbourhood - all of us. Daddy was always there to help out if there was a problem. But this was a new experience for both of us - just a 70-plus-year-old grandma and an almost-four-year-old little guy.
Would he manage on his own? Or would he, at some point, want me to climb up and help him?!
But no!
I was surprised to see how confidently he approached each new challenge.
Grandma wasn't needed at all. How relieved I was!
How quickly they grow up!!
