Yesterday was a BIG DAY for one member of our family - first day of taking the BUS (with his big sister) and heading to SCHOOL!
It's nice to have a big sister you can follow!
Somewhere - in old family albums - there are pictures of all my kids heading off on their FIRST DAY as well... It's a milestone!
My own FIRST DAY was a day of confusion... The new school I was attending wasn't finished yet - so for a few months classes were held in various buildings around the village. My first grade classroom was an empty cafe on main street. My mother's home economics class was held in a church basement a block away. I got lost at lunchtime trying to find her! A day I will never forget!
