My parents took this picture of me when I was a year old, all bundled up in blankets, sitting on a sled. I don’t know who the older children are. Neighbors, perhaps, in our Hay Lakes, Alberta village community.
And here, similarly bundled up, is my one-year-old grandson, in a picture taken last week.
These “baby-experiencing-his-or-her-first-snow-ride” pictures must be a Canadian tradition!
