My parents moved from Alberta to British Columbia when I was 12 years old. One of the reasons they moved was to have shorter, milder winters.
But whenever I look at childhood pictures taken in Alberta in winter, I wonder: how cold was it?! In some pictures, there hardly seems to be any snow!
Here on my 7th birthday in early March... I don’t see any snow!
Hard to tell how much we had when I was 4... There was, however, a significant amount on my first birthday!
I guess, no two years are exactly the same - much like now!
