A lovely sign of spring.
I'd love to see this plant grow and spread - but it's been there for a dozen years with no real change. So I appreciate it... and hope it will be back next year.
Some plants do very well in this sunny front yard location - others don't. Is the soil too acidic? Nearby pine trees spread their needles around.
It's a mystery to me!
