New Way to Microwave Corn Cobs

I recently happened upon a little video that has revolutionized the way Terry and I prepare corn on the cob (which happens to be one of Terry's favourite foods).


There is absolutely no prep work! 

Place an unhusked cob of corn on a glass plate and microwave on high for 4 minutes.

Then let it sit for 2 minutes. 

Slice through the cob about an inch above where the stem meets the cob. (I marked approximately where it should be cut.)



If cut at the right place, the cob should just slip out of the husk.

The same instructions say to add 2 minutes on high  (= 6 minutes) if cooking 2 cobs of corn at the same time - but we haven't tried that yet.

So easy and delicious!
