I think it takes a grandparent's perspective to see how quickly children grow up. Parents themselves are TOO BUSY just KEEPING UP!
As I look at these recent photos of my grandchildren trying on skates...
And my granddaughter writing, the children (age 3 and almost-7) look so "grown up"!
My mind races back a few years to when they were younger... (The little boy was the baby in the carrier...)
It seems like yesterday!
(I loved it when my granddaughter - aged 3 - would pretend "read" to me!)
Every stage has its joys!
