Amaryllis: Constantly Changing











I don’t remember ever seeing a flower change as much as my amaryllis.











It started out small, with three low-lying flowers. Above is the plant on February 10.

After the first three blooms dried up, and I cut them off, a fourth grew.











Then a second - much taller - stalk grew. It developed four flowers. Here it is (above) on February 22.











And here’s the plant just four days later.











Every new growth dramatically changes the plant’s appearance. It’s so fascinating to watch!
