I'm currently doing a virtual walk along a path in Italy called the St. Francis Way.
Every day - as l take my daily steps - my Virtual Challenge app marks my distance on a Google map. The terrain is mountainous on the map - but not where I walk.
It's interesting to see the scenery along the way. I view the route alternating between street view and satellite image.
I'm about 40% done my current 500 km trek. Seeing my progress encourages me to walk a little farther every day!
Once I pass the halfway mark I become even more motivated to finish quickly !
