A new store was coming to the mall where I walk.
I wonder if there will be long line ups like there were when they arrived in Toronto, my daughter commented...
Grand opening day finally arrived... and I observed how they tried to create a "buzz" in the mall - loud drums beating from time to time in front of the store.
Customers and employees walking around the mall holding balloons with the name of the store on them.
Signs everywhere announcing that today was opening day! You really couldn't miss it.
Did it bring in crowds? Not while I was there Friday morning - but the change rooms had a lineup.
I walked down a few aisles, but didn't stop examine any clothing. I'll wait till things quiet down.
