A week ago, our family celebrated my birthday. I wanted us all to DO something FUN together!
First we headed to Perth, Ontario, for lunch. Then we had a scavenger hunt - to discover more about this historic town.
We divided into four teams, each with a clipboard of questions.
Which team would win?!
In summer the town is busy with tourists. There are lakes and cottages nearby.
But the air was damp and main streets quiet last Saturday afternoon.
We headed over to the Crystal Palace to find out its name (Was it Crystal Palace? Buckingham Palace? Or Window Palace?)
Then to the Mammoth Cheese to find out how much it had weighed.
What color was the giant chair?!
On and on we went, looking for answers, hoping to come first place...
Then home for dessert...
(Even the cupcakes were a puzzle to solve!)
Ivy and Jericho evaluated the results and announced the winners. They even set up a "podium"! Such fun! For Grandma - the best birthday ever!
