The Supreme Court Building

Canada's Supreme Court Building was also open on last Doors Open weekend, and Terry and I decided to visit it, too.

The building is very impressive from outside.

The court chambers are beautiful inside, too.

We didn't get to look inside any of the private offices, where judges, law clerks and others worked behind the scenes...




 












But we did wander around the building after the tour and see the magnificent views all around...

Overlooking the Ottawa River, the Supreme Court also overlooks the Parliament buildings, a few blocks away.
