Last Saturday we attended the Perth Festival of Maples...
Our son and granddaughter joined us.
The day was damp.
We all wore rain attire - and carried our umbrellas.
There were so many local producers of maple syrup, selling their products.
Terry talked to them all - discovering who still boiled their sap over wood fires...
Who used "reverse osmosis"...
Who produced "organic" syrup...
It was such a fun day - in spite of the rain. Terry was in "7th heaven"! So much tasting ... and comparing!
It's his favorite event of the year!!
