I can hardly believe that we're into May already! April is already a blurr...
Anne recently sent me a picture of her April phenology wheel - her daily paintings of birds and plants she notices on her walks. It's so beautiful! Each month's wheel is a work of art!
Seeing her wheels inspired me to try making my own this year. But I find mine focusing on the weather - especially temperature and sunshine.
This past month, I felt great satisfaction in watching the blues (in the center) - indicating below freezing temperatures - gradually be replaced by warmer orange and red ones.
Also the days when the sun appeared: sunny days give me so much joy!
