It's early August - winter doesn't usually arrive till November - but I wonder if my garden is nearing its end. Are these bright blooms the "last flames" of colour for this summer?!
These phlox, in shades of pink and purple, catch my eye.
I want these joyful "flames" of brightness to last forever - but I know they won't.
(And it's only early August...)
For me, summer never lasts long enough!
