The Canadian (North American?) shortage in children's pain medication - that I've read about in the news - suddenly became real to me a few days ago when our young grandson developed a fever.
Could you look for children's Tylenol, Advil or Motrin in your neighbourhood pharmacies? the little guy's mother asked.
But all I could find was homeopathic medication I had no experience with.
I passed on the request to our son who works downtown - and... SUCCESS!!
Perhaps fewer children live in the downtown core (?) In any event, we were thrilled to find it...
Though, I must admit, I never thought we'd have a medication shortage in Canada.
