Squash Family Portrait

My current botanical art class has focused, thus far, on the squash family of vegetables. I have drawn and painted pumpkins...

...dumpling squash...














... and other squash I don't know the name of!

Time to make squash soup and move on! But before I do, I thought I should group all my squash samples together for one last squash family portrait!

It's a bit easier this time round - but I'm still not really happy with my results. The botanical artists I admire create delicate paintings that glow with beauty. Mine are best viewed from afar!
