Beauty Around Us

I loved art as a high school student, and have - years later - gone back to painting. Focusing on art again has made me more aware of the beauty around me.

From the simple beauty of vegetables - like this this amazingly shaped and colored... squash!














To the spectacular beauty of sunrise and sunset - like this sunset I noticed while driving through Ottawa's Experimental Farm in the late afternoon.














All because I'm learning to pay more attention and look at how I would paint it - if I had the time! But there is so much beauty around me! It slips by before I get my paints and paper out!
