New Month

Another month has come and gone...

As I look back at my May phenology calendar, I see that we had more days with sunshine than rain - though many of the sunny days were also quite chilly!

As I prepare my new - blank - calendar ahead, I plan to have more contrast in the colors representing temperatures. I find the May colors were hard to differentiate.

I've also decided to add a "mood" section - to show days when I'm really joyful / happy (for whatever reason!) ... possibly because the sun is shining outdoors; days when I'm basically content; and days when my prevailing mood is disappointment or sadness. 

Off the top of my head, I'd guess that I'm mostly content. But I wonder if sunshine and warm weather do increase my joy. I'd guess that they do!
