A few weeks ago, the Hudson's Bay Company - Canada's oldest store chain - was having its final closing out sale...
In my mall walks, I watched the shelves empty as shoppers came to get "deals."
This brought a definite air of sadness for me. The Bay was the last of the original big three Canadian department stores that were part of my growing up years.
But, as they say, change is inevitable...
I wonder what this massive retail space will look like in a year's time?! I guess time will tell!
