It's always interesting to see how different communities observe "Remembrance Day" - the day we show our appreciation to Canadian members of the armed forces who served in times of war and in times of peace.
Earlier this week Terry and I were in Brockville.
Passing by the war memorial reminded me that this will no doubt be the center of the city's Remembrance Day solemnities at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month (today).
Nearby, a dress shop added its own special memorial - including a blouse made of poppies. Beautiful!
