Yesterday was an interesting day here in Ottawa:
The weather was a little cooler... and it rained a bit...
(No need to water the garden!)
Next door, the nursing home where my mother spent her four last years was having its roof repaired...
(A blue tarp is covering part of the building.)
It was very noisy - so noisy, in fact, that Terry and I talked about going away for the day...
But the downtown market area - where Terry loves to have coffee and croissants - was out of the question...
Why? Because a black bear had walked into the area overnight, and police were requesting that people stay away until the bear was removed...
In other words, an interesting September day!
