In my teaching days, I used to drive down Baseline Road in Ottawa to get to and from work.
It was a pleasant drive - with Ottawa's Central Experimental Farm on one side of the road for much of my drive.
Stopping at red lights didn't seem that bad when they allowed me to glance over and see the farm beside me.
It changed from season to season.
One morning, I remember seeing several foxes in a field.
Recently Terry and I were driving down the same stretch of road and encountered heavy traffic...
So I had the opportunity to open my window and take some pictures of the farm in September...
A quiet rural spot... in the middle of the city!
