A new custom has begun - in city parks - since my children were young:
Leaving toys in city parks for all to use...
Parents (or perhaps grandparents) sometimes leave large toys in parks for anyone to use.
Like this one our granddaughter used in a Toronto city park recently.
She enjoyed pushing around a toy lawnmower left there, too.
Someone must have forgotten their toy, I commented to my daughter-in-law, spying a Tonka truck sitting in the sand.
I was surprised when she replied: They probably left it there on purpose, to be shared.
What a lovely idea!
