I have been trying to eat more protein in my meals and snacks, in an effort to stave off cravings.
One snack I've been enjoying lately is this "trifle" (in a glass) made with a crumbly chocolate cupcake... (They sometimes crumble when I replace 2/3 of the flour with whole wheat flour and spelt flour.)
Layered are: 1 chocolate cupcake (1 gram of protein), frozen fruit, 3 tablespoons unflavored Greek yogurt (4 grams of protein), topped with 1/4 cup mixed unsalted nuts (5 grams of protein).
Delicious and surprisingly filling!
