A Tall Tree Comes Down

Early yesterday morning, we heard a loud noise... What could they be doing next door?!

It's a big crane... They're taking down that tall tree that died, Terry reported - heading to an upstairs window for a better view.
















A row of evergreens plus one tall ash tree has served as a wind block for decades - perhaps since this was farmland. This year we noticed that the ash tree had died.

















Now they were cutting it down... All this in pouring rain!
