Perhaps it's time to consider a kit of wooden needles that attach to plastic strings of different lengths, good for knitting in the round as well. After doing an online search, I discover that my best price is at Michael's - if I use a 50% off coupon.
Here it is - my new knitting kit in a compact case.
With the various-sized wooden tips and different lengths of string, I can create 60 combinations. Two of the tips are already in use! I think the set will be very handy indeed!
