Days and nights are becoming cooler. A new "gardening season" is upon us.
Fewer flowers are blooming outdoors - tbough these purple ones - that I had almost forgotten about - have just started to bloom. (I've also forgotten their name!)
My biggest challenge is to stop watering the amaryllis bulbs that are sitting on the front deck.
I need to stop watering to let the foliage die so that they will go dormant.
Then, in 2 or 3 months they'll need to be repotted and watered - so they'll bloom indoors this coming winter and spring again.
